About The Show
Show Staff
 |
|
Lee Tyers - Show
Host/Founder/Producer
Lee started broadcasting
radio back in 2005 with
'Platinum Wrestling Radio',
which soon evolved into the
award winning 'Squared Circle
Radio Show'. Lee is responsible
for the vast majority of the
audio you hear on the show, and
also handles live show
production via the ridiculously
expensive audio mixer in the
studio. |

|
Andy Evans - Show Host/Producer
Andy joined the show during
the 'Platinum Wrestling Radio'
era after winning a trivia
contest and the opportunity to
come into the studio and be a
co-host for a week. Andy soon
proved to be worthy of a
full-time position on the show
and has been on air ever since.
He is responsible for some of
the funniest audio clips in the
show's history, including the
legendary 'Flower Out, Flower
In, Fantastic' clip from the
Michelle Bass interview, and
'Terry Funk being spitroasted'. |

Lawrence Case - Host
Lawrence is the show's
resident rock star and joined
the show in January 2010. He is
the front man and lead singer of
the awesome band 'Voodoo Vegas'.
A die hard wrestling fan, and
performer of the Ministry Of
Slam show theme 'So Unkind'. For
more information on Voodoo Vegas
check out their official website
at www.VoodooVegas.com. |

Martin Mathers - Host
Martin joined the show in
January 2010 and is the show's
resident 'insider'. He is the
editor of the UK's most popular
wrestling magazine 'Fighting
Spirit' or 'FSM' which gives him
a great deal of insight into the
industry. True, he's unlikely to
step into the ring himself and
the chances of seeing a photo of
him without his shirt on are
slim, but that doesn't stop him
being passionate about the world
of wrestling and as
knowledgeable as a bag of
grappling encyclopedias. Plus,
he loves pie and that's always a
good thing. |

Simon Miller - Host
Simon is the editor of
X360 Magazine, and another huge
wrestling fan. He's interviewed
WWE Superstars during his run
with the magazine to help
promote the various Smackdown vs
Raw games on the 360. This made
him a perfect candidate to be
part of the new MOS team!! -

About The
Ministry Of Slam
The Ministry Of Slam launched in January
2009 to replace the award winning ‘Squared Circle Radio
Show’. Throughout the three year run of The Squared
Circle we interviewed many of wrestling’s top stars
including Mick Foley, Kurt Angle, Chris Jericho, Candice
Michelle, Randy Orton, and many more. Each week we’d
look at the week in wrestling by bringing you the latest
news stories, along with previews and results of the
monthly pay-per-view events and giving listeners a
chance to interact with each other in our live chatroom.
In April 2008 we closed the doors on The Squared Circle,
due to us needing a break from what we considered a
stale wrestling landscape. We launched a weekly chat
podcast which then evolved into ‘Legends And Champions’,
a weekly podcast looking at the good old days of
wrestling in the 80’s and 90’s. We ran the show for 25
episodes, but started to miss the buzz of live radio. We
tested the waters in December 2008 with ‘TSC: One Night
Stand’ and then decided to bring live British wrestling
radio back full time with The Ministry Of Slam.
At the beginning of 2010 we welcomed three new hosts to
the show to take the show to the next level. The show
will always be truthful, controversial, and fill the
gaps in the weekly programming you see on TV.
